“I’ve got an idea, Carlotta.” Remus descended exactly one step. “Why don’t you run along to your boyfriend and spend as much time as you can with him, because honestly, with all of this Shelley business and everything else, for some reason or another, I just can’t imagine it lasting too much longer between you two. Cheers.”
It’s what always happens: he doesn’t mean to always say the wrong thing to her, to make her hate him, to feel intensely bitter towards her prat boyfriend, to punch blokes that speak unkindly to her. It just happens: the part of his brain that is logical and reasoning snaps when it comes to Lily Evans.
It’s about a week later that he finds her in the library, talking to herself as she plods through homework, and his heartstrings don’t just tug, but altogether snap at the sight of her.
They’re bantering twelve seconds later, but not in a friendly way—he’s glad she’s speaking to him at all the way he’s behaved, but she’s just vexed. At some point, a nickname pops into his brain, and it’s as he’s leaving that he uses it.
“Relax, Snaps, it’s not as though…” He finishes with some jab at her, and she rolls her eyes, a sarcastic remark rising to her lips, until she seems to realize that he’s called her something foreign, and she breaks off mid-sentence, with:
“…What did you call me?”
He only grins and adds: “See you around, Snaps,” before he departs.
James can feel her scowling after him.

So I turn twenty-one on Saturday and I’ve been trying to think of how to commemorate being alive for twenty-one years, I know most people spend their twenty-first birthday getting drunk legally for the first time but I’ve never really been the party sort of girl. I’ve been contemplating getting my second tattoo for a while now, ‘Hakuna Matata’ but with money being tight I’m not quite sure if it would be worth it, but then again a girl only turns twenty-one once. I can’t decide if I want one word on each wrist or to just get both words on my left wrist but I want to do something to make me remember turning twenty-one and to help give me hope and remember not to stress the little things in the months to come.
i love this movie, it has to be the most epic disney movie ever made, its beautiful and tragic at the same time and i love finding any excuse to watch it despite the fact that most people would find it odd for a twenty-one year old to still enjoy disney movies. this movie will forever remain a part of my childhood and i hope that when i have children one day that it will be just as big of a part of their lives as it has been in mine.
